You have never seen the Sun rise
You are experiencing Earth-turn

We live on a rotisserie
and there are two things that happen when the sun's energy reaches the terrestrial surface.
Green growing plants capture the Sun’s energy and use it to power photosynthesis where from thin air they make themselves.
All plants are solidified atmosphere. Now only 25% of that of that Carbon is used to make the plant, the other 75% is used to make liquid sugars that the plant pumps into the soil as food for the life in the soil.
The other thing happens in the Sun's energy strikes tarmac, roofs or plowed ground.
When that happens it is raw heat that gets reflected and absorbed in atmospheric water vapor

Water vapor is the primary greenhouse gas controlling 95% of the heat dynamics on this little ball of mud.
The plow is a 10,000 year old mistake with enormous cultural inertia.

We need to shift our focus from Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to the effects of our land-use-practice.  Our actions are desertifying large tracts globally and that is our demise.
Champion Regenerative Agriculture.

Montana has cold dark nights. Perfect for the heat from incandescent light. Tiny ad:
