We’re running a 7-day Ecovillage Design Education class this August on Salt Spring Island, BC - thought this community might be interested.
The course covers all four dimensions of the Gaia Education EDE framework: Ecological, Social, Economic, and Worldview. We go into community governance, decision-making, conflict resolution, alternative economics, and the values and cultural frameworks that hold communities together - not just land design.
It takes place at Entelechy, our 14-acre intentional community on Salt Spring. Participants stay on-site for the week - wall tents, communal meals from local farms, 14 acres of forest and gardens.
August 9–15, 2026. 22 spots. Early bird pricing until June 15.
Salt Spring is a ferry ride from Vancouver and Victoria, and reachable from Washington via the Port Angeles ferry connection.
