Hello earth bound souls.
I have recently moved to the Alexander Archipelago region of the upper upper NW. I came here to take on the project of revitalizing a homestead and creating a space to truly be with myself, away from the noise of the world.
I aim carving out a life that requires maintance but doesn't rely solely on the commercialized version of society.
I am a creator and artist, a builder and maker. I love using available resources to create visually appealing structures that not only serve the eyes, but have lasting practical use.
I work fluidly, In that I don't put pressure on myself to meet at itrat deadlines, but do stay focused on what's most important.
I have been a "seeker" my entire life, weaving through Christianity, plant medicines, various philosophies and schools of thought and spirituality. I've worked professionally in those areas and have found great value in them all.
Where I'm at now, however, is in a place of truly embodying all that I've learned and staying humble to always being teachable and open to new ideas. Nothing is so fixed as that of being a student.
I am 52, in great shape. I'm rugged and not afraid of hard work and making things happen, as long as I can freely sit on my butt whenever I want. Haha
I am hoping to make connection with someone who has high moral value in the way of not only how they treat others and themselves, but in staying dedicated to a vision and resiliency.
Would be thrilled to find a woman with her own passions who is open to learning new things for herself and pursuing her desires, no matter if it's for personal gain or simply personal satisfaction. Exploring creativity of any form is piece of the path to liberation, I believe.
Do you have an adventurous spirit?! Do you long for peace through self relience? Do you communicate well and consider others needs as well as your own? Do you long for a place where the world as a whole isn't able to steer you into its clutches? Can you live a life free of addictions and truly be with yourself? I know it's a lot to ask, but if you answered yes to most of those, then maybe we should connect.
I'm in no rush, as getting to know the right person often takes time, but you never know, the powers that be are capable of magical things when your heart and mind are centered with what's meant for you.
Leave a comment or send me a message, I'll be happy to respond either way.
Turn off the news and look to the horizon, you will always be surprised what awaits you there.

That's me with a coworker of the retreat center I used to work for. I'm the guy, obviously. Haha Didn't realize it was a screenshot. Oops. I have more photos if we connect. I'll let my words stand on their own for now.
