Hey all! I'm an apartment homesteader in Lakewood, WA — container gardening, food preservation, and making self-sufficiency work in about 600 sq ft. Wanted to share two things that might be useful to fellow small-space growers.
I'm a brand ambassador for Fast Growing Trees and recently added a Blue Java banana tree to my container garden lineup, alongside a Meyer lemon, rosemary, strawberries, and an African violet. It's been a fun one to document since bananas aren't the first thing people think of for apartment growing, but they do surprisingly well in containers if you've got the light for it. If anyone's curious about container fruit trees, happy to talk about how it's going. Use code FGTHUSTLENJARS20 if you want to check out their tree selection.
I also run a small print-on-demand shop through Fourthwall geared toward homesteaders — apparel, mugs, stickers, candles, that kind of thing, themed around the apartment-homestead/self-sufficiency mindset.

Would love to hear what other small-space/container growers here are working with!
