Should I just wait till spring?
Thanks for the help!
Yes you can but make sure it is after the first good strong frost but before the soil freezes. Dig down 6 inches and place the asparagus
root side downward after spreading them out like a fan. Fill back with a mixture of soil and well aged
compost, and the cover the soil with a good 3 to 6 inches of
CHOPPED leaves. Next spring you should have a nice asparagus bed, but don't pick any that first year.
