La'akea Community near Pahoa in Hawai'i is offering their annual winter Permaculture Design Course the latter half of February.

Full disclosure: I am one of the core course instructors, along with awesome La'akea member Tracy Matfin. Island born & raised Zach Mermel contributes whenever his day job allows, and other community members and island-based resources will make guest instructor appearances.

A bonus with this course is that La'akea is a nearly ten year old intentional community in rural Hawai'i (on a site with over twenty years' history of hosting permaculture design courses). So you get not only the PDC, but a slice of intentional community life along with it.
