Hi, im Gabriel,

I live in Aiuruoca in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil..
The little city is at 1000m above sea level..
Our 50ha land varies from 1250 to 1500m above.. in the valley between 2 1800m mountains.. The biggest mountains near the city is 2300m and a litte further we have got 3000m + Mountains.
I started studying Permaculture in 2010, did my PDC in 2011 with Jorge Timmermann..
since then I am working at the land..
we have 250+ Fruit trees growing.. Some old trees were already there.
we grow a lot of beans (different types) , corn, cassava, taro, startet growing rice, squaches etc...
We have water springs way up the hill

I live here

our 50ha are manely forest.. but the neighbours are pasture .. we live in a sloped area and the main income from the native locals are Milk cows in overgrazed pastures in extreme slopes .. you can see the erosion..

i will start a topic where i post more fotos.. and post it here

Gabriel
