In this thread on staple crops, R. Ranson mentioned getting seeds from her seed library.

I had heard of the concept, but never thought to check whether there was one close to me.

Turns out, there's a registry/directory/map.

And there are two reasonably close to me!

I believe I'll be hitting the nearest one before the coming growing season. I've got seeds to give, and I've got wants to meet.

In case you haven't come across it before, check the map! Perhaps there's one close to you.

If not, do you have a) time on your hands, b) organizational skills, and c) the desire to do something good for the world? If so, then by golly, go start a seed library in your town!
