Does growing hydroponically produce the same quality of fruits/vegetables as growing in organic soil or whether I would be missing out on nutrients/flavor by having a hydroponic setup?

I'm quite sure hydroponics and be organic depending how you do it. But there is an issue for me with flavor, wholesomeness and sheer goodness. Hydroponic veg I can taste. So, I have this nose that snuffles out anything strange and the nose is the first thing important for taste as well. I taste that stuff .. there is what I can only describe as a flatness - the taste is not deep and lasting. It is different with aquaponics and somehow the food tastes better.

Anyways .. just my view on this.
