Garbage cooking retort???

OK all you biochar smarties...I've got a query.  
I'm applying for a license to feed my hogs garbage.  One of the stipulations is, the trash has to be cooked at 212 degrees for 30 minutes.  Best case scenario would be a charr retort to cook the garbage.  I've come across something called an Adam Retort that MIGHT be able to be retrofitted for this purpose??? I don't know???
I thought of a simple design that uses a "direct method" of charring....but I'm told the "direct method" releases a lot of methane.  Don't know if this is true or not???
Anyways, my goal is to sequester carbon through the cooking of the garbage.
Can somebody please throw some advice my way?
Plus...where can I find a design for an Adam Retort?
