Authentic Creations is a lifestyle home business in Calapuyo Territory, Eugene, Oregon. Offering a variety of NATURAL SEASONAL goods, and services. Specializing in LOCAL ETHICALLY HAND HARVESTED plants, and wildlife. Striving to maintain a healthful lifestyle while providing the ability for others to live similarly. Sourcing materials to reuse when possible. We serve low-income individuals, queer families, practitioners, and health food stores.

Seeking an Apprentice to work with me moonly trading labour for learning. I am looking for an individual who wants to get dirty, laugh/cry, have existential and political conversations, burst into occasional spontaneous dances, and be up close and personal with herbalism and the land.

During this work exchange we will create wine based tinctures, animal fat salves, herbal smoke blends, wildcrafts, stationary, other herbals, and gift baskets. Harvesting from yard and around the neighbourhood. Creative writing, editing and proofreading promotional literature.

Commitment: Work accompanies the moon at a shared home in the northwest part of town; which is on the bus line. Please consider the distance from your home, the price of gas, bus fare and/or a bike ride in the rain before agreeing to this commitment. You will need to sign a comprehensive non-compete and confidentiality agreement.
We work on new, waxing half, full, and waning half moons from 10:00-15:00(3:00p.m.); which includes tea, take home herbals, and a dietary specific meal. Term ends around Winter Solstice and includes a seasonal community potlucks!

I am excited to learn with you. All ages welcome to apply. Great opportunity for seniors, retired folks.

Is this program still going on? How do I get in touch with someone about this? I would love to do this apprenticeship!
Hello my name is Amanda. My pronouns are She/Her/Hers
I would describe my authentic self as: quiet, observant, nature lover, funny, and kind. I love to make medicines from plants and coming up with my own homestead remedies. I love helping out on farms and being with animals.  I feel most like my true self in nature camping. I am most curious to learn about animal fat salves, wildcrafts and stationary. I have my own transportation and home in Eugene, Oregon. The edits I see in the above paragraph are: "Harvesting from yard and around the neighbourhood" It should read: " Harvesting from the yard and around the neighborhood"
I participate in social justice movements by:
Working for a youth non profit organization in social justice work.
I show up to community events on social justice and People Of Color circles.
My partner and I have councils on being queer and on race as an interracial couple.
I also am starting my own VLOG about women of color in nature.
I am also working on a one woman show where I play a historical black woman and tell her story that has not been told and perform it it within my community center.
And some days holding my partners hand can feel like a movement in itself.
