how to create natural aeration

Thanks Robert! I have a an acre or so pond that is filled via run-off. I live in a very hot climate in South Georgia that tends to create lots of algae in ponds, at least that is what folks say down here ( i  just moved). Without moving water i.e. a print or creek fed pond, what is the best way to create aeration and whatever else is needed to have a healthy pond? i have looked into solar aerators and they are too costly at this time. Gigi,  your situation sounds very applicable for a windmill aerator  ..  Once it is installed, it just works, as long as you have a breeze
