We are a couple looking for a new experience homesteading in the mountains. We are 28 and 26, experienced at gardening, some livestock, and other outdoor skills. Hobbies include permaculture of course, growing things, hiking, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, woodcrafts, and playing music. Currently, we're living in middle Tennessee, I'm working a full time job welding cabinets in a factory and neither of us are  getting much time to work in the garden or do any of the things that we want to do or learn. I do have a lot of my own tools, and a good running full size truck that could also help, also we do have some pets/small livestock. If anyone is looking for some extra help in exchange for boarding or more, we'd love to hear from you.

I am in the process of starting a homestead in Western North Carolina.  I am building this to be off the grid, and there is much water on the land.  We should talk, and see if our paths or directions are similar.

William

Where are you located in Western NC? My job takes me throughout the area. I would be willing to exchange labor/resources if you are somewhat close.

Hey, check out my mega multi devastator cannon. It's wicked. It makes this tiny ad look weak:
the permaculture bootcamp in winter (plus half-assed holidays)
