Ideas for new place

I am new to all this having just purchased 4 acres in Tasmania. The land is hilly, with a clay soil with some top ok topsoil on paddock. I am interested to get some feedback on what food plants might be grown from top flat section, through clay hill, down to sloped pasture that I plan to Terrace. Climate is possible frosts in winter, maybe even light snow, with 30 plus Celsius days possible in summer. There are other areas to develop, already a pond, but starting here. Thanks
