I have some black sapote seeds and while I was reading about germination, it was said by a few people that these have to be days fresh in order to germinate.

Does anyone have any experience germinating chocolate persimmon?

If you have the source tree, don't mow around it and you will have lots of 2' saplings to transplant next year. I have not intentionally planted persimmon due to my dislike of mowing
