We have a 50 acre property on the wetlands/ocean on the Eastern Shore VA. Currently 9 acres are being farmed for soybeans and corn; we are looking for someone eventually to turn those 9 acres into an organic farm, and to start growing vegetables on the other parts of our property that have never been farmed. We would also like to get some goats, chickens and ducks. We need to rely on you for your expertise and to manage the property. We'd like to eat whatever we grow, but you can keep all profits from the farm. Also if necessary you can stay in our house that was originally built in the 1600s until we can sort out additional housing options on our property. Thanks! Karen
I'm in Nassawadox renting a house and actively searching for the right property to purchase via our environmental nonprofit. We're going to be building a Cal-Earth SuperAdobe sandbag house and related structures. See pictures I took on our blog here...
I've sent off your request to a friend that may find it of interest. Where are you located? Are you interested in selling any of your acreage to our NP? In any case it will be goo to meet you as time moves on..
I see you posted this in the spring, I was wondering if you still need someone... It is fall but we could plant fruit trees and install infrastructure (compost, rain cisterns, greenhouse, etc...) eight now. I am in Baltimore now headed south to Annapolis; ive been touring north America for the past year getting ideas for my ideal living situation and now I'm ready to work again to accrue some resources.
