Will be making a 1-2 acre poultry run this summer and want to plants some bushes and trees that will provide them with a food source. At suggestions?

How are the turn outs? I'm not looking for the best of the best. What ever doesn't turn out will be used as animal feed. I didn't know if they stayed truer then apples or pears?

I was wondering with the milder winter we have been having in our area so far can Hugels be started in winter? Will there be a problem as the cover crop won't be growing till spring?

Could anyone give me some tips on starting grapes from seeds? Also how long can I store them?
