Hey Joylynn. No morter, just stacked the bricks. Now that I'm convinced this works I'll start looking at better versions. I'd like an outdoor kitchen.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll look at self feeding styles. I’d like to build an outdoor kitchen eventually.

Hi.
I’m thinking there will be people here who can on a rocket stove and could give me a few tips. This is first time making a brick rocket stove, I’m new to canning as well. First attempt was canning some beetroot. Had a lot of siphoning from the jars. I’ve read that could be due to the canner heating up too fast. The jiggler jiggled like mad the whole processing time, so I’m thinking the flame was too strong? Any tips on how to regulate heat? Or anything else I could change that would help?
Thanks.

Hi All. Been reading posts here for a while, but first time posting.

I’ve found a breeder not too far away selling New Zealand Whites and Californians. Which would be better for a first time rabbit keeper raising for meat in rabbit tractors?

Thankyou for the advice on this. I was eventually able to find a supplier fairly locally and took some jars in to try different lids on. Other makes fit so i'll give these jars a go.

Hi Everyone. I wanted to have a go at pressure canning, so when I saw a used one on ebay I bought it. Now I'm finding difficult to locate jars and other supplies in the UK. Can anyone suggest where to look?

I also got some Bormioli Rocco 'Quattro Stagioni' screw-top jars from a very kind freecycle user. Does anyone know if I can use these for pressure canning? I don't have lids for them. Is it possible to use other manufacturers lids ?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
