I have 2+ acres near Amarillo, Tx.  I have a barn tall enough for a RV.  I don't have hook-ups, but maybe you could install them in exchange for your stay?  
The area is fenced with another larger fence around it.  

Hello!  I do need someone to help me on my small place in West Texas.  Of course, it is much different climate here than Houston.  I'm sure you know that.  Have you always been in Texas?  I would love to have help here.  I would have to have folks vetted properly and it might not be your cup of tea.

I am trying to make a food forest, I'm not sure if that's possible here.  We have little rain and lots of wind.  Right now I have started some gardens, I have buffalo grass that I'm very reluctant to disturb.  I would like to have chickens, but I have two dogs and coyotes running near.  So I would have to have very secure living space for them.

I have looked at info for this fabulous community before.  It sounds wonderful to me and I did consider trying to move there.  However, as a single widow, 70 years old...I would need help.  Which I do need now where I live near Amarillo, Texas.

If I bought 10 acres from you, or even my own 35 acres, is there someone who could  help in getting me set up in some kind of living situation?  The only animals I have are 2 large dogs, but they would need a good size fence.

I realize you may have already sold all your extra lots.  I could purple message you or you me.  I would like to visit there sometime soon.

Heya Paul Bats,

The population of Amarillo, Texas is 202,303.  Yes we do have door dash and uber, and some similar services.  I'm about 11 miles to Amarillo and 5 to Canyon.  But there are residences and business in all that area.
I'm not wanting to sell my place but just get folks to share living space, work, expenses etc.  I might be open to selling part of my land.  And again, expenses are low.  
I had the idea of maybe building a yurt for several folks.  I just want to keep the large fenced in area because of my dogs.  I would just need to have any one  living here cover the cost of their own expenses.  Especially if they could do upkeep and improvements with me.
Where are you located?  I have to warn you, it is very dry here!  But I have been reading up on Greening the Desert and Food Forest Abundance with much interest.

Thanks for your interest.  I was talking mostly about health and medical choice freedoms here, especially in these last few years.  But in addition, I think because of being a smaller community, we have more freedoms.  I don't know how it is in Australia.  I'm sure it is a beautiful place.
