Hi, I DO know you're talking about, and there are sooooo many others as well. i believe most would prefer not to think about it, like this would cultivate a victimization mentality, or just negative in general.

well, shucks its real and common, regardless. me, i am sort of stuck out in a foreign desert euring the COVID bs with no ties really anywhere on Earth, and although you who has written this post has since moved on into, I trust, a more balanced social situation, I am grateful to see this here. a little honesty amidst the splendour in my book IS balance.

there is one thing, in all our empties and our pities, and this is to really and finally accomplish what we have been sidestepping - most of us- all our lives, and that is to meet our SELF and the SUBconscious which rules us and which
we know almost nothing about. perhaps it tis that greater self which knows no bounds being ultimately the illusionary self of all, as though we ever were something separate. i do NOT continue from here- this is something everyone has their own sovereign experience and position on.

i guess its what all the sages gurus and adepts have always said , that Love (whatever that is) reigns o'er the every and all.

Hi Rebecca,
so you're in SECMOL, great. i am missing my 9th straight year around there, and i have worked with that group before....i hope theyre not scaring the natives too much with the fashionable insanity going around.....the seabuckthorn as you know is the highest vitamin c content or percentage of any fruit on Earth, so far as i have heard, and the point is not to pop them in your mouth for snacks but to extract them and use as a superfood. on this, they stand as among the very best-best anywhere.....

Hi James,

I think it would be most helpful for all the farmies looking on, to first DEFINE the concept of landrace and then give your examples of it......
i do love all the applications you are forwarding- let's please not forget the essential first steps-
carry on wildly! -im

Hi there-  I understand your concern here, the issues can get convoluted, certainly.....I think the idea on manual labour is though,
that we remove the need for those 9 calories to COME FROM the industrial sector. Instead, we expend labour, result in produce or
upmarket food items- peanut butter, jams, whatnot- and forget about the 9 calories formula altogether.

Effectively, we are putting aside the industrial completely when we go manual, and we GET what we PUT into each process.
Of course, the more efficient we can make a hand-crank gadget means less labour on our part, and more result. so, I
really applaud any mechanical types out there- PLEASE do some design/build work, we LOVE the gadgets!!

In short, the industrials are in there in the first place, due to opportunistic industries looking to provide goods
and services to the mainstream. Going manual removes us from those goods and services- as long as we can replace
what the industrial has been providing, with the products of our own making.
Does this make sense? Now, yes it depends on how much time and energy we all have, to DO these daily efforts!

Linda Secker wrote:Hi All

do you have any recipes for moisturising sensitive skin and lips? I get very dry skin in places, and my skin is sensitive to all sorts of things. I need a thick cream for hands, feet, elbows and knees, and a lightweight cream for my face. I also get occasional patches of eczema. I'm particularly bothered about lip stuff - I've tried several lip balms here in the UK, some natural, some not, and the only thing that actually works is vaseline which is petroleum jelly - yeuch!!!

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd like to try making something!

Linda

Hi Gang-

ALOE BUDDY

You can try my recipe, a lifelong pursuit to agreeably care for extreme dry skin.
for body, not for face except on occasion.

ingredients (all organic please...)
1. Aloe Vera leaf, fresh cut from a plant
2. Vegetable Glycerin
3. Hemp Seed or Jojoba Oil

---------------
KEEP IT SIMPLE, never get anal on recipes- just eyeball relative measures and you'll be perfect enough -

1. de-spine the edges of the aloe leaf(s), and slice leaves into pieces, put into a blender leaf skin and all.
liquify that for a few minutes best you can, until you get a greenish goo in there

2. ADD the same amount of glycerin to match the aloe goo. so you now have 50/50 of both. blend again, few minutes.

3. ADD the oil, not too much, about 1/4 to 1/6 of the mixture. this acts as an emollient, or a smoother if you will,
to the consistency of the lotion. blend again, couple minutes untill all lumpy things go away.

4. DECANT all to a large GLASS jar, which shall be the master, which decants to your personal container(s), especially when you give samples to others.
USE a rubber spat to remove every smidgeon of lotion from blender.

5. ADD a few drops of essential oils to the master jar with tight lid- tea tree (3), rosemary (6), lemon (6), peppermint (1 drop!)....shake furiously.

6. decant to daily use container, and store the master somewhere cool and dark.

7. IMPORTANT: to be used after shower or bath, dry your hair and back, but do NOT dry your body.

instead, add a few drops rubbed between palms and massage your wet arms, perhaps going into upper torso- then a few drops to massage your wet legs- then midsection, you get the idea, adjust amounts until you're covered. not TOO much!

8. at first, experiment until you apply the right amount everyday, and you'll be surprised at how little you might need everyday. one smallish bottle lasts me
about a month, or months, for example.

ENJOY and please POST YOUR RESULTS!

Is a "seed bomb" just a larger version of a "seed ball"?

Please, inquiring minds want to know ; )

----------

effectively yes, Matthew- actually kind of a mixed- seed blob that gets plopped onto mother earth.

Looks like, the above example is maybe trees, with clover coing up around for nitrogen-fixing.....
not sure but that is one great thing to do on seed bombs, i reckon.

have fun!
