Biography
Join us on a journey. Let's build a village together, put forth our time and effort. We want to do this now. No time like the present.
We need free thinkers, healers, artist, musicians, crafters, builders etc. the list goes on. Off grid, self-reliant village with alternative energy production (passive hydro, solar etc.). Our brilliant permaculture minds is key to building a working system. Home ideas, yurts, geodesic domes, earthships, Mike Oehler style etc. Underground year round greenhouses? The vision: a hippy hobbit village with Gardens, fire circles, outdoor/indoor kitchen/communal space, Office/library area, kids schooling/play area. Private living spaces. A public space for future plans of world domination( lol hehehe, just kidding, I couldn't resist) really for educational outreach, gatherings, events, healing retreats, primitive skills, PDC's, cob classes, etc. We never know Divine's plan for us, being open and flexible is important. My hope is to live in a village where all walks of life can co-exists. Have conversations about beliefs, ideas, differences, without anger, fear or judgement but still respectfully disagree. If you can do that, come join us. Info about myself, I am 3rd year wiccan priestess, nature & earth is the main reason for my spiritual path. I would like to have events like Pagan pride and or full moon drum circles, etc. You are welcome to join in or stay out but just be open and respectful. Freedom is of the utmost importance. There is no right or wrong when it comes to Spiritual truths in my opinion.
We are all beautiful and unique pieces of this giant picture we call the Universe. We as those puzzle pieces, can create one amazing and unique picture (village) if we put all our different ideas in, to work together for the greater good of all community members and the world around us.
Hopefully this resonates. Message me here or email me DivineCurrentCommunity@gmail.com . Please put "Community Freedom Village" in the subject.

Where are all my people at?! That love permaculture but in a deep spiritual way. When I first learned about permaculture it took me to a place of LOVE. Honoring and respecting earth and working with her not against. Its amazing! To live in symbiotic harmony and live, big time as a way of Life! Pemaculture rocks!
So cool! glad its done and working for you guys <3

This evening upon returning I gave her a new load.
When I returned home I found the outer bricks starting to change color.
It  may take a week or two but a sure sign the drying process is well on the way.

Today we started using firebricks on the inner bell.
Gerry now has 22 layers of the outer skin almost completed.
Tomorrow, we will fit a 4" bypass pipe through both skins, it will be wrapped in superwool to seal where it passes through the inner and outer skins.
A  four inch 90 will attach to the chimney pipe. It will utilize the same style of bypass that we installed on Shorty core.
Soon we will be welding up T-bars to support the firebrick roof, and the clay bricks above that.

Very soon now a new Dragon will be seen in Sanders county

There is a place in Spokane too. Thats where Mud and I got my fire bricks. Might be closer to you than Missoula.

thomas rubino wrote:Hi Mike;
Firebricks are larger than the clay bricks)  9" x 4.5" x 2.5" vs. 8" x 4" x 2 1/4",   laying them flat would supply more mass, the overhang inside is not a problem.
After looking over my firebrick supply, we decided that there might not be enough on hand.
Rather than adding a trip to Missoula for more firebricks, I chose to have Gerry stand them on edge.
With #6000+ of bricks, the Studio Dragon is a big girl already.
She will surpass Shop Dragon and Shorty Core in heat retention.

I like the red side too

thomas rubino wrote:Once this build is completed, I will have a place to display my new dragon art!
A gift of appreciation from Scott @ Iron Design L.L.C. in Iowa    https://irondesigniowa.com/

I'm not sure if I will hang the red side or the black side.
Currently,  I'm considering painting a square of bricks black and using the red side for display.
