That confirms fall as the best time. I’m trying learn what it is about fall so I can harvest at the optimum time. For instance the cold? So early morning would be best perhaps?
Thanks for posting this! Where I live there’s about three different types of Balsamroot growing in abundance, Arrowleaf being one of them. I’m hoping to start getting familiar with how to use them.
I live in a sagebrush area and last spring discovered there are multiple types of edible roots growing everywhere out here. I read that fall time is best for harvesting and wondered if anyone has some experience they could share on this?
Hi I’m new here and posting for the first time. I’m really excited to find this forum with information on so many topics. I have heard that there are dry stack stone workers in Washington and wondered if anyone knows who they are and how to get a hold of them? I’m thinking of building a partially underground home. There are rocks everywhere and I would love to use them for the structure.
