That confirms fall as the best time. I’m trying learn what it is about fall so I can harvest at the optimum time. For instance the cold? So early morning would be best perhaps?

I have heard that there are dry stack stone workers in Washington and wondered if anyone knows who they are and how to get a hold of them? I’m thinking of building a partially underground home. There are rocks everywhere and I would love to use them for the structure.
