I have the same.problem and I have tried wd 40 and mapp gas heat. Hit it with a block of wood and also a hatchet. I'm actually bending the handle. Since the glass has a crack in it, I may just break it out and hit the handle with a torch and hammer from the inside. Correct me if I'm wrong but the glass is just a 1/4th plate glass? Not sure what else to do?
