Hello!
My name is Samantha and I have 6 acres in lebanon , OR. We're The Laughing Forest farm and Nursery. Our focus for the nursery is on native and other edibles that work in our area and heirloom plants/trees. We got sidetracked for a bit with embedding edible flowers and herbs in candy and selling on Etsy and wholesale and it was a blast but the time commitment ( I also work a full time job) became crazy and the growth of our farm/nursery business suffered, and the overhead to run a commercial kitchen became problematic!
We are now focusing solely on planting out the orchard , 'tea garden' and woods with edible perennials and trees, and foregoing our farmers market booth in Corvallis for at least a year or 2.
As I research and look for answers to the many questions that pop up I often read through the conversations on this site and gain valuable , 'real world' knowledge from the many experienced people that engage on this site, so I finally subscribed!
Anyone else in my area?
