Hi there: There should be a name for Permies of Age and I don't know what it should be however I believe that there are more and more of us in this demographic. We are late 50's and just purchased our small farm to do what we should have done years ago. Thank goodness we are both in good health. Learning about food security and permaculture has become almost an obsessive addiction for us and since early 2022 our passion is just growing day by day. If we live healthy for another decade or two we wil realize our legacy dreams of doing well for other people and the land that we are trusted to regenerate. Our kids and their kids , even if they don't become involved in the farm will participate in our learning curve and our love of farm-life and the associated stewardship that goes with owning the land. I wish everyone here good health and positive experiences in their endeavours. As we age there is no point in sitting back in a lazyboy waiting for the sun to set. Get out there and seize the day! They're going to have to bury us on this farm.
