Hey Brian this sounds awesome. It's especially interesting to me as I'm planning a trip to Nicaragua this winter and am looking into land sharing options for a sustainable lifestyle change. Maybe I could get down your way
Hi Jamie
Wow your world sounds and looks awesome! All us single permie gals up here in BC Canada are swooning as we shovel the last of the snow off our cold beds. I wonder about visas etc for a stay in Panama as I entertain what a trip down would entail. I'll check into the deets and keep working on how to make the fantasy real.
Thanks for the vision and best wishes, Michelle
Hi Rob. This is Michelle a new permies postie but an old Canadian/Cascadian pioneer soul. I am in the West Kooteney just a couple valleys down from you. Your land and the location looks beautiful and sounds like it has great potential for rewarding stewardship opportunities. The workable situation you describe is very akin to what I am seeking as a lifelong family homesteader who is now looking for new intentional community living with other permaculture enthusists. I'm also speaking on behalf of my dearest couple friends of many years, we are all mature late 50s-65, are also looking to move to a nearby rural property where the use of their extensive skills and experience in planning building, plumbing, heating gardening chicken farming etc can be employed towards a  solid long-term work trade/housing arrangement. We have many years combined  enhanced survival experience behind and ahead of us to offer. Lettuce chat?

Hey Ted
How are you doing at your dessert oasis? I'm curious as to how things are going as it sounds and looks like an awesome initiative in a beautiful sustainable spot, and you haven't posted in awhile. Hope all is well
My name is Michelle, I'm a mature Canadian from a rugged Kootenay Mountains lifestyle with many survival and homesteading skills. I'm exploring new opportunities in intentional community living and permaculture stuwardship here and abroad.
I am curious 🤠
Hello Permies! I'm so happy to have found you 🤠
