Urban areas are increasingly nature-depleted, leading to poor air quality and a disconnection from nature and community. Whilst many people are sceptical of taking to the streets to rewild their cities with flowers and grow food, this is one of the most effecive ways to regreen our streets, without waiting for councils to take action!

Earthed (an online nature education charity) is launching "The Guerilla Gardening Challenge" this week. It is free, and takes students to turn a corner of their neighbourhood from grey to green in 28-days!

By rewilding urban spaces, participants will not only enhance their neighbourhoods but also foster a sense of community and environmental stewardship. Sign up here: https://lp.earthed.co/guerrilla-gardening-challenge

There are a tonne of free video classes at Earthed, and they've just made it open-access, so it's totally free. Some of the teachers on there are incredible - Charles Dowding (No Dig expert), Vandana Shiva (Earth Democracy - more theoretical) and Alessandro Vitale (urban gardening).

Thought it's worth sharing!... https://www.earthed.co/
Hello Permies community! It's lovely to meet you!

My name is Kiran, I am currently trying out my first small scale growing project in my small garden in North London (courgettes and green beans). I am very interested in organic, sustainable growing, particularly No Dig gardening. I am doing Charles Dowding's course on Earthed, where I work in marketing and community, and I am loving it! Here's the link to the course: No Dig Course
