Hello Henry,

I am wondering if you have any updates? I just recently heard of Terra Nil, which is a game about terraforming desolate landscapes. More of a game, than simulator. Also it feels very much "dominant worldview." https://store.steampowered.com/app/1593030/Terra_Nil/

I am interested in building a game, rather than a simulator, myself. For me, the permaculture knowledge is all there. It's the cultural narrative that I want to contribute to. Many farming video games are about dominance and taming the land. I would like to see one that can promote working with nature, promoting ecological succession, and most-of-all ... Observation skills ...

What we might find in common is that I would base this "game" on ENS - Energy Network Science in the backend. So whether we use realistic trees or animals, or made up ones (i.e. Pokemon style), we still have real physics (thermodynamic) principles that govern the game dynamics. You can read more about ENS here - https://www.researchgate.net/publication/286876266_Using_energy_network_science_ENS_to_connect_resilience_with_the_larger_story_of_systemic_health_and_development.

I would be open to hearing from others as well. greenwood.samuel@gmail.com

PS: I am not an expert game developer, nor physicist, nor permaculturist. But I have a basic interest and knowledge of each (as well as teamwork skills and lots more) that can help bring this project together.
