Hello Mary,
What you’re doing is incredible. It takes a special person for them to want to live off-grid. You’re not crazy. As the saying goes, “Trust yourself even if you don’t know yourself.” If living off-grid is what’s calling you, then do it.
At 38 years old, I have always found peace while hiking and walking along trails. Nature brings me a sense of calm and safety. Unlike cities, where the hustle and bustle of everyday life can feel overwhelming, being outdoors allows me to escape and relax. As a result, it’s easy to feel lost trying to “keep up with the Kardashians.”
Not fitting into society was a problem, but life has a funny way of working things out. I have considered living off-grid, but I’ve been too afraid to start. I would love to hear an update on your four-acre house in Tennessee.
