Those who like their sweet tea like it sickly sweet (in my opinion). This or more sugar is true sweet tea.

I'll confirm with anecdotal evidence since my husband calls my tea humming bird nectar. Good tea blends can be flavorful without much sweetener though, Twining's and Yorkshire for instance.

Lovely recipe! I'd love to try with baking soda to maintain electrolytes in this heat.

Welcome and best wishes for permie-ing your life and apartment. 8 years ago I was living in a little apartment, and began growing much of herbs, greens, lettuces and chard  on the kitchen countertop with grow lights underneath the upper cabinets, and on the front entrance of my 2nd floor walkup.

Thank you for the well wishes, Kara Ann! And glad you were able to have that growing set-up in your apartment. I just hope anything would grow in this air, I'm hemmed in on both sides by neighbors who smoke all the time and not sure if even an air purifier would help it. Cut flowers die in a day, I swear, with unchlorinated water and plenty of sun. No sense in not trying though, you for the idea!

Hello! Glad to not be the only new person 😅
My efforts are focused on the consumption side too, so I'd be happy to learn about product-lifecycle management from you! Cheers <3

Hi everyone! My name is Zohie and I'm happy to join up here. Great-grandparents on both sides were Otis's, but that got pissed away after their kids left for town. I want to take that back up, even as a hobby farm, both to honor them and to give my family better than what I had.

Anything productive isn't in the cards right now since I'm stuck in an apartment, so the main goal at this point is harm reduction. Vinegar for cleaning, more ingredients than processed food, just normie/muggle things. Even when I do get a house, odds are I'll have to settle for some HOA-surveilled postage stamp with neighbors that spray gick like water. Trying not to be a doomer about that, but things are harder than they need to be.

But things on the consumption-end can be managed, at least, and the Little Way is often the most fruitful. I'll do what I can with PEA, mushrooms would be the only things I could grow for instance. Just glad to be here and happy to help out as needed. Thanks all and looking forward to learning with you!

Not sure how helpful this will actually be, but DuckDuckGo does offer a browser version with AI features disabled. In the test cases I've ran, conducting same searches on the regular vs no-AI browser, it's cut down on AI images by a decent bit and and no annoying pop ups. Doesn't filter out slop from the search results for webpages though, but it's beats fussing with the settings every time I clear website data from browser. Hope it's helpful in any way.
