Forge welded chain - PEM BB metalworking.straw.forgeweldedchain

This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Straw badge in Metalworking.

Homemade rope is nice but what if you need something a bit stronger?  Let's build some chain by welding the links together!

 
 

Here's a gentleman showing us how it's done:


Minimum requirements:
  - Forge weld a chain with at least 6 links
  - The links are complete and welded shut with forge welding

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The project underway
  - Show the scarf on a link
  - The completed project
