What are Window Farms??

Window Farms are vertical, hydroponic, modular, low-energy, high-yield edible window gardens built using low-impact or recycled
local materials.

I saw this window farm site & I thought "What a cool idea!!" but how would it work here in Montana?? Our windows get cold in the winter & we get very little sun, could we make it work here?

WE ARE GOING TO TRY IT THIS WINTER!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER HOUSE HOLDS TO JOIN US!

Most people make theses from plastic, we're thinking of using glass.

Any ideas on how make that work?

Anybody want to join forces grow window farms this winter & see how it goes?
