...the new coyote season will soon be upon us!  All of those "cute" little puppies that were born in the spring will be booted out of the nest about the time of first frost.  They are not accomplished hunters yet, and will soon be getting hungry, at a time when natural prey is getting scarcer.

Walk the perimeter of your hen house fence.  Look for weaknesses, and fix them.  These young critters will be looking for easy hunting since they have not yet learned the skills of making it on their own...please don't make it easy on them.  If they cannot find an easy way in, they will look elsewhere.
