Four months ago I embarked on my permaculture journey, quitting my corporate job in the UK to learn about permaculture and organic farming. I have been volunteering on farms in India for the past 4 months, and have completed a Permaculture Design Course at one of them. I will be continuing to spend all my time on volunteering on farms in India until October when I will be heading to Australia on a working holidy visa.
I intend to find work on an organic farm in Australia ideally prior to arriving but I understand that can be a difficult quest. My aim is to continue learning about permaculture and organic farming in Australia before eventually heading back to the UK to start a market garden. I was hoping you guys could either give me some suggestions of farms you know of in Aus which may be recruiting paid workers, or even just directing me to some sources of finding paid work. I understand the WWOOFing opportunities in Aus are great, however, I will need to gain paid work when I arrive in order to sustain myself and save for my future project
Any advice would be hugely appreciated!
