Hello from Clarendon County, SC!  My boyfriend and I have recently moved back to his hometown.  We are living on 3.5 acres of land that has a pond and is surrounded by another 20+ acres that we someday hope to farm and incorporate into a larger homestead-business model.  We have recently inoculated over 15 mushroom logs and are in the elementary stages of establishing our garden; we are planning to have chickens sometime this fall.  Chris and I are very excited about creating a space that not only provides habitat, goods, and beauty, but also a place for our neighbors, friends, and community to enjoy, experience, and learn from.  Interested in staying, visiting, and/or swapping skills or knowledge with us?  Reach out to Kate - kate.weschler@gmail.com
