reference for storing Veggie harvest ?

Anyone know of a one-stop printed reference for how to treat my various veggies after harvest to get the best quality and storage properties? I know the basics, but there are a lot of nuances that I don't have a clue about. For example, here's a page from the national gardening association about harvesting onions that had some tidbits that were news to me: Harvesting Onions (NGA)

I would love to have a nice book full of detailed info like that about the various vegetables that can benefit from special harvesting practices. Any recommendations?
