I am looking for a good place to rent (the whole house, or a bedroom) in Olympia, WA. I'm having trouble finding a good place to rent because I have a border collie who is bigger than most places size restrictions. I figured permies might be the kind of people who would rent to someone with a dog, and judge that dog based on its behavior, and not on its size.

If you have a place to rent in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area, please contact me. I'm an avid permaculture enthusiast who would love to help/implement projects on the property. I'm 28 years old, have a stable job in retail management, and I am always on time with rent and bills. My girlfriend has a stable healthcare job, and is equally responsible. My dog is a 60 pound border collie who is very well behaved, well trained, and the only thing he ever breaks is my concentration when he wants to be scratched behind the ears a little. He wouldn't make much of a guardian dog as he is lazy and calm, but the plus side of that is that he's too busy laying around sniffing his paws to do any damage to anything.

If anyone has anything available, I'd be happy to meet you and bring my dog along for an interview. My current landlord will be happy to provide a reference for me and my dog, and has said she'll be sad to see me go, but understands that I want to live closer to public transportation.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and consider me if you're in the landlord business!!
