Will wrapping (loosely) an air pruning grow bucket (i.e; Alaska Grow Bucket) in burlap affect its air pruning abilities? i have some very ugly buckets and don't want to paint them.

I would think not, you could always stretch holes in the burlap over the spot where the holes in bucket are. The camouflage effect should still be pretty nice. I'm a fan of burlap for such uses.

Thanks Roxanne! this is what i'm thinking too. Plus it will extend the life of my buckets since the uvb radiation on plastic is pretty brutal here and will minimize algae. I'm going to give it a shot!
