LOCATION: 17 miles north of Las Vegas, NM in the Manuelitas Valley. We recently placed a 3BR, 2BA doublewide with a large family room on the land and totally renovated, insulated and stuccoed it. Now we’re looking for land stewards, people who really want to live on the land and transform the property, especially putting in a healthy garden and planting fruit trees. If you don't have construction/handyperson skills and Iwe have to hire someone to put up a roof over the deck and build a carport and later a greenhouse, then the rent will be more or less what we’re asking now - $975 a month. But if you do have the skills then Iwe’re willing to knock the rent down to $600 a month in exchange for 3-4 days of work a month.
