How To Find Water - Vitruvius The Ten Books On Architecture

Without the expertise to paraphrase for brevity, these images of a few pages are shared as a springboard and inspiration.  Scholars' accusations that Vitruvius wrote ostentatiously for his era, seems innacurate.  While that may be an academic deficit on my part, I found his writing to be direct and appreciate the plain language. Researching new 'old' words and ideas has also been fun and purposeful :.)

If these images are difficult to read, the full text is available here, found linked from loc.gov.  I had difficulty reading online so I ordered the book.  I also don't like how Google removed page numbers.  The linked online doc may be derivative.
