I would like to grow bamboo along the back of our property, and from my research so far, it seems Alphonse Karr fits what I am looking for - clumping for zone 8. The area where I would plant it gets lots of shade, though, and I am wondering if anyone has successfully grown this variety in lots of shade?
thank you!
Lara

I think he's gonna try to grab my monkey. Do we have a monkey outfit for this tiny ad?
