You know, the usual: long time lurker, first time poster. I'm in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, working on getting my garden as big and productive as possible before my landlord notices and complains (he's very accommodating but I have a lot of yard to cultivate yet). I keep quail, love beans, and lately I've been teasing myself with the idea of growing oilseed sunflowers and a really large patch of dent corn next year. I do foraging but not enough (I can't find the mushrooms I so desire and crave) and a little brewing of wild yeast wine and vinegar. I haven't bought a scythe yet but maybe soon.
