Hello!

My partner and I are working on building a community farm near Fargo, ND. We have a lot! to learn first and have focused over the last couple of years on learning by working on farms, volunteering for crop mobs, and going to classes. due to the environment up here we often hole up for a couple of months and rely on books and the internet to stimulate our need to learn. This winter (for us northerners) we'd like to go south to keep working hands-on. We're looking for work on a permaculture/otherwise sustainably minded farm with any focus. We'd also like to work at farmers markets or with food-related organizations. We do need to make a *little* money to chip away at student loans and save for our farm, but we're not at all high maintenance and could definitely work for room (a tent?) and board and a small stipend.

Currently we're looking at doing internships at the Green Strings Institute in California.

Any tips would be very much appreciated!

thank you

Kayla Lee

Hi! We're still searching. We plan to leave Minnesota in mid-November for who-knows-where. Thanks!
