Howdy Everybody! My name is Nathan Wrzesinski and I am the founder of Project Upcycle. I am currently based in Austin, Texas but come August 1st 2012, We will be embarking on a road trip across the United States teaching people about renewable energy and how easy it is to incorporate into your own home. Our mission is to upcycle old technology and building materials to better the world as we know it.
We believe that there isn't one "miracle invention" that is going to save the world, but instead a system of devices working on their own little part of the big picture, many of which, have already been invented.
Currently all resources are being poured into converting a 1994 Dodge V150 into a gasifier powered RV to use on the road trip so we are looking for people that would like to help us work on our to-do list and learn more than you care to about renewable energy! [Sorry, I talk a lot]
things we are going to be doing:
Building solar panels from damaged cells
Covering the roof of the van in said solar panels
Converting the van to an RV
Building a gasifier [wood burning device that can power an internal combustion engine]
Designing, Assembling, Installing, and Wiring a battery bank into the van.
Making nice looking countertops using recycled materials.
Making comfortable modular sleeping space for 3 people in said van.
Painting the van! [I'm thinking "chalkboard paint"

If anybody is interested in coming out and helping us get this stuff done, learning from us, or teaching us [you can never learn too much] you can either follow us on twitter @Project_Upcycle or send me an email
