Has anyone seen such symptoms before please? These are seedlings. Irrigation water is free of salts, but pH is about 8.3

Could you let us know what you are growing, where the seedlings came from?  Temp where you are..type of soil, watering etc

Without knowing what you are growing, I have two immediate suspects in mind - virus or nematodes.  Let us know what the plant is and where in the world you have it planted,  

Just my 2 cents...

Money may not make people happy but it will get you all the warm fuzzy puppies you can cuddle and that makes most people happy.
