Hey everyone! My name is Jupiter, I’m a 31 y/o girly, and my and my partner Adrian (37/m) have just bought 5 acres about a half hour north of Douglas, AZ. We plan to build a simple homestead on our new
land, with earth bag being our main building style. Though I’ve lived in Phoenix my whole life, my partner is brand new to Arizona. We’re hoping to meet some like-minded people in the area, for resource/knowledge exchange of
course, but mainly, we plan to spend our lives down here and would love to have some good friends near us
We also have a 5 year old who, because of this last year, could really use some new playmates. Homeschool and the lack of socialization has been really rough for him. So if anyone else has kiddos that want a new friend, he’s your guy!
Some more info about us: Most immediately, you’ll notice we’re both pretty “alternative.” I have most of my body tattooed, purple hair, and a few heavy body mods. Adrian is a more toned down “casual goth” lol. We are full time (fairly successful) artists. Adrian is a machinist, and is very technologically-minded. And although I like to pretend I know what I’m talking about, he’s really the brains here. I’m much more art-driven and creative outside of mechanics. We both love spaceflight and astronomy (I went to school for astrophysics) and consider science a very important part of our lives. We’re also both really into geology and botany, our new land has us thrilled with all the cool stuff we’ve found on it so far 😅
