Date: 4th - 5th August 2012
Venue: Le Cluzeau, Vendoire Dordogne http://permacultureglobal.com/projects/531-gaiaveda-vendoire
Course Details:
This course will be run in French and English; aiming to introduce Permaculture in this area to as wide an audience as possible. The course will be an interactive, and fun exploration into the ethics and principles of permaculture including some basic design exercises, and examples of Permaculture in action. It is a perfect opportunity for those who are looking for more sustainable methods of living to gain some initial knowledge of this design system and to meet and network with other similarly minded people in your region.
This course is open to all (minimum age 16), and is non-residential. If you require accommodation or travel advice please contact us for further details.
The cost of the course is 125 euros, lunch and refreshments are included.

Teachers:
Matt Morton - completed his Permaculture Design Certificate in 1996 at the Permaculture Institute in Australia under Bill Mollison. Matt remained at the institute assisting Bill for another 3 months. He then went on to help set up The Island Quarry Project, a permaculture project in Australia, where he assisted on PDC courses. Matt has since completed a BSc in Ecology and Sustainable Habitations, and has for many years run his own ecological gardening business in Oxford, UK. Here he is also a Green Party City Councillor and has been a teacher of Environmental Management for 3 years.. He has a particular interest in Urban Permaculture and has set up a website www.ecocentrus.co.uk as an ecological networking site recording local biodiversity through peoples study of their own gardens.

Benjamin Broustey - a Permaculture teacher resident in the Dordogne area. He is currently in Australia furthering his Permaculture education, so he will be returning in time for this course with many new and exciting insights!
