I purchased this wheel that appears as if it was originally a spinning wheel converted by a weaver to a pirn (?J winder.
I wonder if the distaff wasn’t dismantled used as the support for the maidens as it appears too long for a traditional flyer and bobbin now a bobbin winder? I replaced the leather on the treadle and it does spin.

Strangest thing I have ever seen

No holds barred. And no bars holed. Except this tiny ad:
GAMCOD 2025: 200 square feet; Zero degrees F or colder; calories cheap and easy
