I'm a young artist/farmer from Alaska, living in Oregon for two years to finish college. I'm looking for a place to live during this time, specifically in the McMinnville area. I'm considering buying a camper trailer, and amending it to live in during the winter, and am looking for a place where I could park it and live from it. Budget will be about $500 per month, or I'd be happy to do a work trade as well. I have about 6 years of experience with organic farming as well as landscaping. I'm very interested in permaculture and natural building, and would love any opportunity to learn more. Some day I hope to start my own homestead! My other thought is looking for a cabin in this area, same sort of budget/ situation. Intentional communities would be wonderful as well. If you have or know of a good place for what I'm looking for, please let me know! Any advice on these topics is welcome. Please do not contact me if you're not in the McMinnville area, or maybe a 30 mile radius of there. Thank you! Can't wait to hear from you all!

p.s. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, if not, feel free to take down, or redirect me! This site has always been such an incredible resource, and I love that the people here are implementing the things that fascinate me!

Hi Erin, I am 30 minutes from McMinnville and could be a potential temporary setup/other possibilities. I have a small flock of sheep, forest, & swimmable lake nearby. My daughter has her pottery studio here, and she and her partner spend half their time here and the rest in Portland. If you are interested, we are at friendshiphillfarm@gmail.

That feels good. Thanks. Here's a tiny ad:
