Kyle and Katy Chandler-Isacksen are hosting a workshop in August at their home Be the Change Project at 2055 McCloud, Reno, 89512.

August 11 and 12 (Sat and Sun) from 8:30 to 3:30. Potluck Lunches.

Learn the innovative technique of balecob building, a hybrid that utlizes the best qualities of strawbale and cob: the insulative value and volume of bales with the strength and flexibility of cob.

We'll construct an "Animal House" for our 2 pigs who will arrive in a little over a month. Participants will gain all the knowledge of balecob techniques for home and cabin building from working on this mini shelter.
